Nami Yang's Art Gallery: Los Angeles, California, United States; 歷經50年的彩繪生涯，才真正體會到藝術深受每天生活的影響。1980年代，作彩色玻璃的經驗影響本人在畫面上的切割線與面，成為日後在繪畫上的獨特風格。1990年代，由於生活的劇變而催生了〝生命系列〞與〝女人系列〞。在面對一生中最大的困境時，由信仰所帶來的安慰導引出〝宗教系列〞。最近在〝顏面系列〞之後又加入了〝彩繪心生系列〞，把幾乎是本人繪畫特色的橘紅更加紅彩，就是想藉著血液般的色溫來強調那來自內心充滿生命活力與正面的想法。本人相信藝術創作源自於心，祈願經由畫面能與每一位觀賞者有著心靈的相通。作品曾於2007~2009連續三年入選法國藝術家沙龍及秋季沙龍。2012受選為City of Whittier 的年度藝術家之一，是台美人第一位受選者。 About my self: After ５0 years of painting, Nami has realized that everyday life experiences are the foundations of art. This may not be the case for everyone, but it certainly is for her. In the 1980's she studied stained glass work. The use of lines and shapes in this type of art influenced her style of painting. In the 1990's an intense life change brought about new ideas for her "Life Series" and "Women Series". In the face of difficult circumstances in the 2000's, faith and religion brought comfort, leading to the creation of her "Religion Series" and "Faces Series". In the past three years she has been selected in Societe des Artistes Francais (2007) and Salon D'Automne(2008,2009)in Paris, France. The first Taiwanese American has been selected for 2012 Artist of City of Whittier.
